Winner of the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Classical Vocal Solo, Kansas-born Joyce DiDonato entrances audiences and critics alike across the globe, soaring to international prominence in operas by Rossini, Handel and Mozart and as a fierce arts advocate. DiDonato's vision to make classical music relevant to younger generations permeates her career as she seeks to inspire future audiences through education and social media.   

 

Joyce DiDonato’s acclaimed discography includes Grammy-Award-winning 'Diva Divo', 'Drama Queens', 'ReJoyce!' and most recently 'Stella di Napoli' (Erato/Warner Classics).  Her honours include the Gramophone 'Artist of the Year' and 'Recital of the Year' awards, two German 'Echo Klassik' awards as Female Singer of the Year, and an induction into the Gramophone Hall of Fame. A lifelong Kansas City Royals fan, DiDonato sang the US National Anthem at the final game of the Major League Baseball World Series in October 2014, attracting over 25 million viewers.
